Vann Parrott, Attorney at LawVann K. Parrott is a member of the State Bar of Georgia. Vann is primarily responsible for handling the firm’s commercial and residential real estate transactions and estate and business planning. His practice also includes representing a variety of corporate clients and governmental entities. He currently serves as general counsel for Brooks County, the Quitman Housing Authority, the Brooks County Development Authority, and the Presbyterian Homes of Georgia, Inc. His practice also includes business litigation. In March 2010, he was a member of the litigation team that won a 9.5 million dollar verdict for his client, the largest in the history of Brooks County.

 

Vann received his undergraduate degree from Valdosta State University where he was a founding member of the Mock Trial Team. He earned his law degree from the Mississippi College School of Law in 1998 and immediately returned to Quitman to begin his practice.

 

Vann is involved in numerous civic activities. He currently serves as a member on the Leadership Georgia Board of Trustees. He also serves as a member on the Board of Trustees for the Community Foundation of South Georgia, and is a member of the R. Warde Chamber Scholarship Committee. Vann is the Municipal Court Judge for the City of Quitman and the Associate Juvenile Court Judge for Brooks and Lowndes County. He and his family are active members of the United Methodist Church of Quitman.
